    To function as your safety net, we collect specific types of data:
  • Personal Information: When you register, we collect your Legal Name, Nationality, Date of Birth, Country of Residence, Email, and Mobile Number. We may also request employment details and income to help tailor support services.
  • Medical Data (Sensitive): You may choose to add known health conditions, allergies, and medications to your profile. This information is vital for hospitals or embassies to provide you with adequate treatment in an emergency.
  • Emergency Contacts (Next of Kin): We collect the Names, Email addresses, Mobile Numbers, and Relationships of the people you assign as your emergency contacts.
  • Location Data: We collect your precise location (GPS) to enable safety updates and to share your location with your Next of Kin during an SOS event.
  • Audio Data: If you trigger an SOS alert, the app automatically activates audio recording to capture your surroundings and response.
  1. How We Use Your Information We use your data to:
  • Verify Your Safety: To facilitate the “Daily Knock” check-in service.
  • Respond to Emergencies: To send automated alerts and your location to your contacts if you are unresponsive or in danger.
  • Escalate Issues: To alert local communities or regional authorities if you fail to respond to safety checks over a prolonged period. (where applicable)
  • Provide Knowledge: To offer relevant information regarding local laws, taxes, and city registration based on your location.
  1. Data Permissions (App Store Requirements) To use the full features of HERE, you must grant the following permissions:
  • Location Services: Required to track your safety and send your Pin Location to emergency contacts during an SOS.
  • Microphone: Required to record audio evidence during an SOS activation.
  • Notifications: Required to receive your Daily Knock safety check.
  1. How We Share Your Information We do not sell your data. We only share it when your safety is at risk, based on your escalation settings:
  • With Next of Kin: Your assigned contacts will receive alerts and your location if you mark “Danger” or fail to respond to a Knock.
  • With Local Communities: If you are unresponsive for 12 hours (depending on settings), local registered volunteers may be notified to check on you.
  • With Authorities & Embassies: In critical situations (e.g., unresponsive for 36-72 hours), data may be shared with regional authorities or embassies to ensure your well-being.
  • With Medical Providers: Partner hospitals may access your medical profile in the event of emergency.
  1. Data Retention & Deletion We retain your logs and usage history to maintain a safety record. You can edit your personal information or deactivate Next of Kin contacts at any time through the specific sections in the app. You may request full account deletion by contacting our support team.
